Finding Home prompts

If you have suggestions for things you want to see in Finding Home, please leave them below and I'll see if I can fit them in to whatever plans I have for the series.

Storyline I'm considering:
  • Kronos meeting Aaron
  • Five times the BAU thought they were insane (after observing Tony's team) and one time they compared notes. Profiling Methos, Lindsey's ( Read more... )

highlander, angel, magnificent 7, ncis, criminal minds, finding home, supernatural, leverage

I am glad you are thinking about including the part about the Immortal!

I alo want to see Rossi trying to profile Adam...

a crossover with Boondock Saints would be awesome though

I think I can fit Rossi trying to profile Methos, but I'm not where or when I could fit Boondock Saints. Maybe they try to go after Kronos since he's in Damien Moreau.

I really don't want to pit them against Kronos ( I like too much), but they also have that supernatural chosen one s vibe, so maybe meeting Dean or having the same target as the team, not knowing it would need something extra to take out that guy.

Plus now that they know Cas is an angel he can confirm to the FBI (Tony) that they are indeed doing God's work

Well I figured it'd all be a big mix-up and everyone shakes hands and parts ways amicably, but I'll see wht I can do with Dean and Cas.

also, some confrontation with W&H would be nice and the BAU team investigating the past of Tony's team and seeing how many of his previous clients were people that would fit into here, maybe with a touch a of the Numbers fbi crew?

Do you mean how many of Lindsey's previous clients would fit as BAU unsubs? Once I've finished some of the planned fics, I'll see about Numb3rs. Maybe Don hunted more than just fugitives? I'll have to sit with it a while.

Exactly what I meant, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had defended actual BAU unsubs... I am mainly thinking about all the satanic rituals he managed to disprove in court

I think I've got a fic where I can fit this and profiling Methos.

Matthew McCormick having been (or still is?) part of the BAU. He and Adam having to have the standard discussion go no-neither-one-wants-to-fight.

And maybe further development of Crawford.

I didn't think of McCormick. It might require a little bit of fudging dates (since he'd have to be with the BAU for 15 years), but I'll see what I can do. Also, according to the wiki he was taught by Ceirdwyn and taught Cory Raines, which is awesome. Maybe another five times only with Methos thinking the whole FBI thing is more trouble than it's worth. I could include Crawford in that.

Maybe a little crossover with the stargate 'verse?
Supernatural plus aliens that have been to earth in the past plus a very curious linguistic with a penchant to find trouble wherever he goes would make an awesome encounter between the two groups!

I'm trying to stick to supernatural shows, or at least neutral ones, for this series. Adding sci fi to it as well would just make the canon rules impossible to work out. I am considering a sci fi version of this series though, but that's a *long* way off.

Maybe do a 5 times they interacted with other law agencies who weren't in the know about supernatural and one time they did...for example CSI and other shows like this. The one time that they do could be Matthew McCormick or it could even be Blair and Jim from the Sentinel...

Also if you wanted to to dip into some other fandoms without a full length story maybe do a 5 and one of previous students of Methos and Kronos who they go and visit- and maybe a new students they take on- you could maybe have the Boondock Saints boys be pre-immortals or something... I am quite taken with the idea of Neal from White Collar being an immortal...

I like that idea. I'm definitely going to have to sit down and think about it. Although, now I might actually have to watch the last few seasons of Psych, just to have Shawn have pretend psychic episodes while Tony and co go around vanquishing ghosts or something.

Methos and Kronos I could see taking on mortal students, not just Immortal ones, the Boondock Saints boys could well be included as that. I think I could swing Neal being pre-Immortal, but already Immortal might be a bit more complicated.
