Decorating for Guests

I've been going all out the past two weeks getting the house in tip top shape for guests at Halloween time. I'm not talking dusting and vacuuming, though I did those too, I mean painting and replacing fixtures and such. I bought two cute little end tables from Ikea:

My computer chair is currently on a rug exactly like that one, and John and I each had a table like that when we moved in with dad, only mine was white. He's got them both now.

Ikea had just gone in to Ottawa when I was 16. I can't see why they would discontinue such a good thing >:) Obviously they felt the same way.

They look great in my basement living room.
