[Accidental Video]
[There's a blur of motion and pages as the journal falls through the air and lands on the ground, a leather book bag and some other notebooks landing nearby. Within the camera's view is Ginia, holding a bag of groceries, backed against a building, and watching something (or somethings) calmly out of view. With care, she slowly

Some of the people are most decidedly not right. As they chase their targets, Ginia will be able to see that their faces are twisted and monstrous - ridged brows overhanging a pair of gleaming yellow eyes, with fangs bared and bloodstained.]

First step, finding weapons. Ginia runs toward the kitchen and begins searching for some knives to use, still keeping her eyes and ears out for anyone that may be coming toward the house or already in it.]

The body furthest from Ginia will, upon closer inspection, prove to be Giles. Upon even closer inspection, he will turn out to be bleeding. Closer inspection might have to wait until she's dealt with the second body, however, which has blood around its mouth and the same monstrous face. In all other respects? It's a woman about her age that looks as though it's been beaten to within an inch of its life.]

Her gaze goes over to the first person, too far away to see any details. Male, perhaps. However, the closer body draws her immediate attention. Common thugs and oversized bugs are one thing. A vampire is something else entirely. But all her training remains strong and she takes a deep breath as her grip on her knife tightens. It doesn't matter it's another woman. Hell, considering how everything else has been disappearing upon "death", what she does won't even matter. Right now is a matter of survival.
Chest, throat, eyes, knees, ankles. Ginia ticks off the weak spots and targets as she drops into a fighting stance, carefully watching the vampire and anticipating the first move.]

She's a healer so she's not accustomed to physical fighting. She can cast some offensive spells but by the time she's finished the monster would already be slicing her in half. ]

Fishing out a ball of twine from her bag, Ginia rolls out about two feet of twine and snips it off with her pocket knife. Then grabbing some debris off the ground - a broken piece of wood and a brick, she wraps and ties off the twine to create a makeshift bola. Running forward and swinging, she releases the improvised weapon at the monster's legs, hoping to at least trip it up to buy them some time.]

Just as the Sword Dancer was bringing down its sword down on her it suddenly stopped. Confused at its sudden mercy, she looked back to see a bola wrapped around its feet and a woman not so far from it. She gasped in amazement at her bravery. No one in the right mind would risk their neck to save some stranger and yet this woman she had never seen before did.
However, despite her brave efforts, the twine snaps easily from the monsters strength and now directs its attention to a new target. Realizing this, Martel will try to defend her savior by casting a spell. ]

As the monster came toward her, Ginia held the pipe in her hands like a sword, carefully watching its movements and ready to dodge away from its sword. Maybe if she could get close enough, she could break some joints and slow it down a little, giving them both enough time to get away.]

Until, of course, Kazooie blows the thing sky-high with a well-aimed Grenade Egg.
She's a bit preoccupied, though, and there are a few other enemies - like a shovel with eyes - that seem intent on clipping Kazooie's feathers. Maybe Ginia had better get involved...?]
(OOC: Current setting is Glitter Gulch Mine, from Banjo-Tooie! This is playing within the simulation of it, omnipresently... though if you'd prefer a different stage, feel free to ask! \o/)

As she walks along, she sees the bird fighting off some monsters and if it weren't for the second pair of wings on her back, Ginia would think the monsters were turning against each other.
As Kazooie takes care of the box in an impressive display of explosives (or should that be eggsplosives?), Ginia gets the drop on the shovel sneaking up on her. Grabbing the shovel by the handle and poking its eyes in the process, she swings it around and releases it, sending it flying into the face of a Billy Bob.]

The Billy Bob stumbles back with an "oh!", teetering a moment against the force of the Diggit to the face. The Diggit crumples onto its side in the meantime, disappearing in a flash of light a moment after.
Kazooie pivots, talons scrabbling on the pile of purple gems - amethyst, maybe? - before she spits a Blue Egg right in the Billy Bob's face. The ogre cowboy collapses a second later, disappearing into a flash of light.
Then she turns to Ginia.]
Nice aim.
[It's a rare compliment from Kazooie, but hey. From one adventuring hero to another, maybe?]

...Right. Moving on. Ginia grins and shrugs modestly, but bows her head in thanks. She quickly takes out her notepad to write out a message. Hopefully she can read...]
Same to you. Any idea what this place is?

There's that saying about bringing a knife to a gun fight, but you do what you have to do. She remains calm as she surveys the situation, putting together her plan of action. One that mostly involves throwing the knife into the face of the nearest gunman.]

As one man gets up to his feet, Ginia quickly dashes over and gives a quick elbow to the back of the head, knocking him back out.]
