Aww... very sorry to hear that the girls are sick. Best wishes and positive energy sent out to you and your family.
All I was saying yesterday was that you seemed very happy with your station as a Mother, and more specifically with the latest addition to the family. I know from having neices and nephews (as well as being a child once, myself) that being a parent isn't all peaches and cream, but I also know mothers who have made comments to the effect of "My kids ruined my life! I can't go out with my friends anymore because of them!" and the care their children seem to receive reflects that outlook. It's good to see that, in good times and bad, you appreciate the wonderment that is motherhood, and do your best to both look after them as well as enjoy those moments like you mentioned in yesterday's post.
The comment above specifically was made by my own sister; She has since changed her view, thankfully.
I totally agree with you on the ear pulling thing. None of my boys pull on their ears and they don't get a fever; two classic ear infection symptoms. I can't tell you how many times I've paid my $20 office copay to be told they are teething. But their symptoms are the same: not sleeping well and not eating solids well, and they want a pacifier more than usual. Nine times out of ten it's an ear infection, but how are you to know??
