In their last podcast Paul and Storm let slip that they and, I assume, Jonathan Coulton would be doing shows in Los Angeles and San Diego sometime early next year. I usually make a habit of going to their Southern California shows. It's a great chance for me to see a fantastic concert with friends that I get to see maybe once or twice a year. Can I just say how bummed I am they are not coming to LA? Two shows in SF, but I can't afford to fly up for them...

However, I love your idea! I wish I was as crafty so that I could do something similar :-P

BTW a common friend is moving to SF soon! I plan on visiting in Feb or March (when I have funds again) and would love to see you! And if you're around The City at all from Dec 30th to Jan 3rd I'll be up there fore NYE and taking campus tours (applying to some grad schools up there). :-)

This sale is actually so I can go to their next shows in LA. There are going to be two at Largo. Those are the only details I have so far, but I'll make sure to let you know when I have more.
