So I deleted my facebook, myspace, twitter, and foursquare. I have almost taken myself completely off of the social media network... short of Livejournal. I haven't really spent any quality time here in years, but I do recall that this place was a great outlet- and it was also fantastic for getting inside the minds of your friends

Aha, you're the reason my numbers on Facebook went back down again (not that it's easy to tell with the bouncing count.)

You know, I've no objection to you having done that...or to anyone abandoning those services. I'm barely using Twitter, and Facebook has gotten to be fairly boring for me (I'm mainly preserving it because of a phantom notion of networking), especially as there's more and more a sense of Facebook applying stuff people don't want and removing stuff they might want...so, meh.

I'm with you on the notion of getting back to doing more with LJ -- one of my stated objectives as of this week, in fact. Which means I'm now reading it daily once again. Which is why I read this. :)

I tend to agree with you.. I still have facebook up and running, but it's difficult to use it the saem way I did LJ, and am finding me coming back here where I started.. I'm thinking this will be a great move.
