This is my two hundred eighth entry.
Yesterday was a great day. Lots of hot sex. The Flyers beat the Devils. Watched some South Park. Good times, good times. Click the ol' LiveJournal Cut link for Hutch University planning.
So I was posting on CBR while at work yesterday, like I always do, and there was a thread on the YABS board about what comics you would like to see turned into films. Being the shameless whore that I am, I said Hutch University. I included the caveat that it would probably work better as a sketch comedy or a documentary styled show similar to The Office. Then it dawned on me. The December story arc can have DD and friends becoming TV stars! They've already hit it big in the music industry, both with DD's stint as a rap star and the rise and fall of Frazzled Rock, so television is obviously the next step.
So I've got that basic idea. But I haven't really had that much time to think about it and develop it into something that could work as a month long arc. I also would like to do a Lame Joke Day for The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe next Friday. Possibly shift the story arc to January, which would give me much development time. One shots throughout December. Figure, 2 of the comics will be the Christmas and New Year's strips. I will probably do another Drunken New Year's Eve comic, hand drawn of course. Then there's the LJD. So I'd only have like 5 comics to use for the story, whereas waiting until January, I'd have 8. So I think that is a wiser course to follow.
However, this now leaves me in a lurch, as I have no idea for tomorrow's comic. I've still got a good bit of time at work though, so I should be able to come up with something. As for now, I've got a meeting in about 10 minutes, so I should really be getting stuff ready for that and heading over there.
