This is my two hundred twenty-first entry.

Ok, I've got a goodly sized bit of an update to do. First things up, as of yesterday, Jenn and I are "officially" at the 4-month point in our relationship. Yahoo for us! We're closer to 5 months though, unofficially. I love you baby! Now, Hutch University. You can view Friday's comic and see some unlucky events. Now, on to the updating.

So I need to start with Wednesday night. As die-hard readers of my LiveJournal will know, I was planning on going to see the Dark Side of the Rainbow at World Cafe Live with Jenn. Admission was free, and things were golden. Doors at 8:30, show starts at 9. We got there about 8:50, thinking that was plenty of time. Well, imagine my surprise and anger when we get there, only to be told that it is sold out. Exsqueeze me? Baking powder? It's free admission, how can it be sold out? Well, apparently you still needed a ticket to get in. The tickets were free, but on a first come, first served basis. I was mightily pissed. Nowhere on their website had this little tidbit of information been written. So fuck World Cafe Live. Fuck them right in the eye socket. So we went back to Jenn's and watched Closer instead.

Thursday. Work and such. Went back to Jersey for comic purchasing and grocery shopping. Back to Philly for dinner with Jenn. We watched That Yellow Bastard, since I finally got my Sin City Director's Cut DVD. Also got all the Homestar Runner stuff in the mail. So cool.

Friday. Working. Put together the day's Hutch University. Read comics for the week that I didn't have time to finish at work. Jenn came over, we did dinner and watched some movies. The rest of Sin City and American Psycho. I drank the Belgian ale my boss gave me for Christmas. It was pretty good. Very filling though. I also tried to make mudslides, with marginal success. The attempt was to get drunk so I could do the Drunken New Year's Eve 2005 Comic!, but I didn't get drunk enough.

Saturday. Woke up, had lots of hot sex, ate lunch, watched Wedding Crashers, had more sex, just as hot, if not hotter, put together SMRZNP Page 15, uploaded pages to the email account, saw Say Hi To Your Mom at the Khyber, drank HP and vodka while watching the Everything Else Vol. 1 Homestar DVD, did the Drunken New Year's Eve 2005 Comic! even though I was only slightly buzzed, and then went to sleep.

Sunday. Woke up, got donuts, was locked out because Jenn's door sucks, breakfast, sex, Final Fantasty II, Chinese food, Adaptation, CVS, my car, Peasant's Quest, wonderful snuggles, and sleep.

Adaptation was pretty cool. It's a movie about making a movie about a book, and the movie that he is writing is the actual one that you are watching. Craziness, I know. Even better, the screenwriter, Charlie Kaufman, made up the fact that he had a twin brother, for the movie. But he gave him a screenwriting credit. Genius. So when they got an Academy Award nomination for the film, it was the first time a fictious character had ever been nominated for anything. Fun bit of trivia.

All in all, it was a nice, relaxing weekend. Nothing hectic was going on, I wasn't trying to do crazy amounts of comic work. It was just nice and chill. It's good to have one of those weekends every once in a while.

Today. Busy morning at work. Slower afternoon. I need to tidy up my desk a bit, send out some emails. Then I need to rock my Hutch University scripting groove and sketch Page 20 of SMRZNP. Also read over the script for Chapter 2. Tomorrow I'll start sketching out Chapter 2. Tonight, there is the hotness that is 24. Jack Bauer is my hero. Also tonight, do today's Hutch University, and Pages 16 and 17 of SMRZNP. Tomorrow I will finish up the first chapter by doing pages 18, 19, and 20. Awesome. I'm only like 3.5 months behind. No worries though, I am catching up. I've given myself a production schedule, and I am mostly following it. I am optimistic that I will be done by the end of March.

Ok, working time.
