So last night I sent a .rar of music to a friend of mine. I had to do a double take, I was uploading at 40k/s :O But I brushed it off, as a fluke like my old days on dialup when the random send would get an extreme burst of speed ( Read more... )

That is true. Despite that, I think it is very pretty to look at. The thought of running BT from the office gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

That is almost a megabyte a second. That is like uploading a DVDR in a little less then ten minutes.

Lol, trust me, I know. The two servers (mine and my friends) that I admin both have beefy pipes. There's nothing more satisfying to a geek than seeing a box break over 1mb/s :D

I was just randomly browsing people who have 'canby' as an interest and came across you and this post. Since I work for said ISP, yes, we did double the download speeds of both of our account plans, and the regular account plan's upload also doubled.
