So the job I had been waiting for opened up at work. I applied, and so did a couple other people. Someone else got the job. I'm kinda upset about it, since it had been the thing I'd been after for quite awhile now. However, I let it go, its just a job. I'm sure other opportunities will arise, even if it isn't at my current place of employment

Sorry to hear you didn't get the job :( On the plus at least they have shifted your hours and have given you all of those spiffy benefits!
