So it's been a while since I've had time to post (or comment). Work is still busy, and by the time I get home I have very little desire to type up anything here. Hopefully that will change in the next few weeks.
Things that went on lately:
Vancouver: Went up and saw the season opening of Trailer Park Boys. We got to stay with some random chick I met online, who actually turned out to be really cool (not to mention just as hot as the rest of the Canadians up there... damn there's a lot of nice women there). We hung out at Blunt Bros as soon as we got into town, which was nice, as I had to stay sober for the drive, and I needed to relax. Unfortunately I've just learned today the Blunt Brothers burned down this weekend... so sad. (Hopefully it will be back, bigger and better than before.) We ate lunch, "smoked", and got lost in Stanley Park. That place is so HUGE. I'm glad we didn't have the energy to get to far into the park. The border crossing was rather easy both directions, and the drive went smooth.
The Mustang: I got the electrical problem fixed. Luckily it was just the main headlamp switch that was causing the short. I can now safely drive at night. :) The best (or worst) part about this was that I replaced the one part that I was told (by the previous owner) was recently replaced and known to be good. Maybe I should ask him what else he "fixed"? :D The car still needs work before the Vegas trip next month, hopefully I can afford to get the carburator replaced and still have enough money to take a vacation.
House of th0d: New roommate! Chris has moved out, and Shawn is in the process of moving stuff in. He's planning on painting his room, so I'm hoping that will motivate me to get my room finished and get moved upstairs, off the main floor. I'm looking forward to living with him, and I can't think of a better choice for a roommate (hopefully I'll feel the same after we're sharing a living space).
Work: We had a supervisor quit, and they just announced they are going to fill the position. I doubt I even have a shot, but I have to at least apply for it. I wouldn't be surprised if they hired someone from outside that has no idea what they are doing. Grrrr...
I can't really think of anything else to update on, so I stop this entry here and get back to work. :(
