It's supposed to map out your friends on LJ. There is some meaning behind the colors, and the placement, although the meaning is sorta decided by the application, so the programer can't really tell you what the colors mean. (It's complicated, but he goes over all the technical information in his LJ). Anyway, mine is rather small as I don't have many LJ friends. Some of the bigger ones look much cooler when you can see the relationships.
