Well, I suppose I haven't posted in a while....

Hmm... topics of interest. I'm looking for a job... don't care to detail why. Just dumb luck... I tend to have a lot of that. On the up side, I have no bad references... Boss loved me. *shrugs* Just time for a change, I guess. I hurt my back pretty bad anyway. Still hurts a month later.... Whenever I sit for more than 5 minutes, I feel pain whenever I get up. I'm not of the opinion age has anything to do with this; outside of the fact maybe it would have been harder to damage the muscle than it actually was. Not quite sure what the deal is, but since muscle relaxer seems to help I know it's probably just muscle strain or damage. Hopefully if the latter it will heal over time. Not sure... anyone have any experience with back injuries?

In my semi-immobile state, I have been in the mood for watching some popular broadcast media.... Various movies, series, yadda. I have now watched the entire first season of the "new" Dr. Who that started on BBC last year, along with the Christmas special (it was an hour instead of 45 minutes) and the first two episodes of the new season. I think this 2nd episode might have something to do with the whole "bad wolf" thing going around in the first season. Actually, the story is getting more interesting than the old series was. The special effects are certainly better... 2nd season is showing improvement over the 1st.. I'm guessing they're spending more money on it now. It's been a while since there's been a good sci-fi production, if you happen across the new series, I have to recommend watching it.

Hmm.. Oh, have a way to convert just about any video I have to video iPod, for all you new iPod owners & those considering it. There are programs readily available that convert AVI/MPEG/DVD to iPod.... Yep, I can put your favourite movie on your iPod. And chances are, I probably have your favourite video. I'm thinking about making a list of the movies I have 'available' (I own or have owned over 50% of my video collection - that may sound like a justification, but I consider the prices charged for popular media 'Piracy' in itself, so byte me).

So anyway, ya, I can load up audio & video to capacity of any iPod... if anyone cares to visit. Pfft. =P

Uh... I finally have my setup "fine tuned" per-se. My computer's audio is going straight digital (via coax) to my Yamaha receiver and have the 52" rear projection tuned so I can actually read everything displayed at 1024x768. It's a bit dim, but it works.

Those are the beans I have to spill on this medium at this time.
Try saying something, just so I know I'm not talking to myself. ^_^
