[Welp, since your out, you may notice a scrawny looking round-ear dicking around deck seven. He's the very definition of cool, calm, collected...

He's totally sneaking out.]

[On his supply runs, Jak's been checking some of the decks, looking for any changes or new dangers.

He's ... reasonably sure the skinny kid creeping down the hallway isn't dangerous, but still.]

Hey.

[Considering he jumps a freaking mile and stares at Jak like he might EAT HIM, yes, I'd say he's very dangerous, Jak.

Hiccup looks like he may turn tail and run, but the aching need to know What That Guy IS keeps him planted. Granted, his stance is obviously one of someone about to bolt, but he's still here? That deserves some points, doesn't it?]

...Huh--Hey.

[... yeah completely not a threat. It's just a kid.

Jak drops the aggressive stance and his expression softens to one of only mild irritation at the world at large.]

What're you doing out here?

A sandwich.

[He can't quite tell if you're serious or not.]

[He was, but suddenly he's rethinking this.]

... Yeah, no, it... was a joke.

[There's a pause. Then Jak sighs.]

What room?

Some dynamite, Pretty Boy.

Hope it won't cause ya too much trouble.

I'm pretty sure you're out of luck, Jinx.

[Damas is stalking back to his room on Deck 5, two baseball bats swung awkwardly over one shoulder. He's got a golf club in his free hand. Just in case.]

[Jak's just on his way out for another run. He slips into a defensive stance at the large, hulking shadow, then relaxes when he recognizes it.]

Damas?

[Damas spins at the sound of his name, holding the driver somewhat menacingly until he sees his son.]

Jak. It is good to see you.

[Jak holds up his hands.]

Yeah, you too.

[You hear that Jak? Is that the sound of the theme to Jaws? No. That's silence. The complete silence of this random hallway you happen to be in.

... As you're being watched. Very closely. Just come a little closer.]

[It is silent, and Jak's got a bag slung over one shoulder, full of medical supplies and boxes of rice, fish, meat and vegetables from the sushi bears. This run was successful, and now he just needs to go back to his room, sort out what is whose, and deliver them around the ship.

He has no idea he's being watched.]

[He waits. Standing perfectly still until the target is close enough. It looks distracted. Or at least... unwary.

Without warning, he charges out from what small amount of concealment he found, feet pounding the floor, and his head down. He runs straight for Jak, as if intending to trample him where he stands.]

[HOLY SHIT IT'S A KG TANK HEADED STRAIGHT FOR HIM.

Jak drops his bag of tricks and flattens himself against the wall, whirling around, ready for a fight.

Whether he could even stand a chance in that fight was another thing entirely.]
