[Hey, Jak. Someone roughly your same age. Phoenix's brow is furrowed in confusion, but he's not nearly so lost. Second time he's been here - at least that he can recall.]

[Uhhhhhhhhhh hello ... strange ... person.
Jak raises an eyebrow and kinda stares. He doesn't recognize you at all from the village. And considering there are only a handful of people, he should know them all.]

[Coming from a more populated area, Phoenix is used to meeting people he hasn't met before. Still, he's a teenager, and prone to making assumptions. He folds his arms and lifts an eyebrow of his own.]
[Damas had enough sense to not grumble something along the lines of "not this shit again" over the communicators, though it had taken some willpower to fight the impulse off. He did not ache; the weight of forty years lifted from his shoulders did wonders for him, it really did. Aches he was not even aware of they were so ever-present, were completely gone.
He's on his way to the forest. He's not sure if Jak's changed again, and if he has, he'll be a child of three or so, right? Considering Damas did age back down to twenty or so, Jak should be--
--standing right in front of him. He's a child, but-- this was an age Damas had never seen. Damas had been absent for the part of his life that left him looking like this.]

[Whirling around, Jak stares at the unfamiliar man.
Well, kind of unfamiliar. But he almost looks like Jak in a way. His head tilts slightly to the side and his lip curls in something between confusion and curiosity.]

[Jak just rolls his eyes.
Charming, aren't you. Look, he'd love to stay and chat, but he's got friends to find and a village to return to, so he'll just give a polite wave and stroll on past.]

Jak spins around with a grin and ... stares at empty air.
Huh. Could have sworn he heard Daxter.]

[Jak stares right over him- what the hell, it's actually Jak. Is the boat going nuts again?! Stupid boat!
...but Jak doesn't look down or greet him or anything, so Daxter scowls and folds his arms, stomping a foot.]
Hellllooooo. Down here!

Jak glances down with a grin, wondering what kind of stupid plan Dax has that--
Uh.
The hell are you?]

Jak shakes his head, then rubs the back of his neck, trying to figure out how to ask directions back to Sandover.]

Jak grimaces and waves a hand in front of his face to clear the smoke away, then shakes his head. Where's Haven?]
