So here's the deal. I've finished recording and I'm in the mixdow process. I'm pretty happy so far. We shall see how the end result is. I'm thinking of renting a PA to do a mixdow with to 500watt mains and a 700 watt sub. If things sound good on a PA i figure they'll sound good on almost anything. Rent a set of studio near field moniters with a lower power sub and amp-if you mix on the PA, it will not sound good.

Studio moniters do not colorize the sound you hear, giving you a true mix.

problem there is that we're looking at sevral hundred $$ a day, ot rent some if you can even find some. I ended up doing the mix on my crappy computer speakers and it sounds pretty damn good. I know the flaws of these speakers pretty well so I know what they do to sound.
