The word that best seems to describe my life right now is 'conventional'. I have a stable 32 hour per week salaried job and don't do much which is illegal or challenging to the establishment. More important than being unconventional for the sake of being unconventional is being happy, I feel. Who cares otherwise?

I've become aware of my sugar addiction lately. And am beginning to be aware of the emotional content behind it :S. That's the real thing to contend with! One thing that helps me is reading lots of healthy food blogs and looking at good cook books helps that put me in frame of mind where I'm excited about veggies and healthful food. Distraction from the cravings. In the past when I've stopped eating so much sugar I've stopped wanting it so damn much. I've been in a pretty bad place with it of late though. Good luck with your efforts!

It really is a psychological addiction, because eating sweetened foods does seem give a short emotional lift.
