My doctor was going through the list of studies with me on Monday... "Beta blockers have been found useful, but with your blood pressure as low as it is, I wouldn't put you on any-"

Me: "I'm already on them!"

Him: *headslap*

(Wasn't at the top of his mind, because the SVT was diagnosed in '05 and the beta blockers control it completely, so it hasn't been on the list of Things We Are Actively Dealing With.)

My dad just had an ablation for a-fib, and it was pretty scary for him, but he came out of it okay after a minor-to-moderate hiccup a few days later. He's got bradycardia, too. The nurse told me he got down to 35 BPM when he was sleeping. Good lord.

Also, I find it hilarious that, in that Wikipedia article, they talk about a guy with the slowest heart beat in a healthy human - and his last name is Brady.

I'm sorry you've had to go through all of this. What sort of plan do you have to ensure that you don't ever lose this much weight again?
