When I got the message that my grandfather was dying, back in October, I remember the fit of private, hysterical sobbing I had, with a friend's blind cat purring and reassuring as she bore with me, never moving off my chest, licking my chin every once in a while, purring when I couldn't do anything more than ask what it was I could do to make this ( Read more... )

You have this wonderful way of sharing memories and feelings, something I can never do. I don't know what else to say.

...maybe that, choice or not, I think your pets are (and have been) lucky to have you.

I was thinking about you the other day, I'm living in Reno and remembering our late night excursions for movies and Olive Garden. Kinda made me sad because I realized I don't even know where you are right now. I don't know if this means much, but I still have my old cat Marshall living with me. He's 18 now. Love you Rach, miss you tons!
