HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, PART 1, FUCK YEAH.
Angry things first! THEY CUT MY FUCKING FAVOURITE LINES OUT, dammit. What are my favourite lines, you ask? Why, these are my favourite lines:
Ron: He must've known I'd run out on you.
Harry: No, he must've known you'd always want to come back.
Also a bit disappointed that there wasn't the bit where Dudley said goodbye to Harry in the beginning.
Absolutely loved what they did with Hermione's parents in this movie. It was so clear she missed them throughout, and obviously the scene where she wiped their memories was heartbreaking.
Seriously torn between amusement and embarrassment with that Harry/Hermione dance scene.
Fucking hell, the scene at Godric's Hollow was terrifying.
I still love Draco with all my heart. <3 His inward emotional conflict seemed really clear to me, every time he showed up.
HOLY SHIT THAT ANIMATED SEQUENCE FOR THE TALE OF THE THREE BROTHERS? So. gorgeous. I was honestly captivated. It helped that Emma Watson's lovely voice was narrating. <3
Emma Watson is just so unbelievably gorgeous.
Oh dear god, when Bellatrix tortured Hermione, I kept wanting to scream and cry and throw up and it hurt so badly and so physically, especially when I saw the word 'mudblood' dripping blood on her arm. I didn't remember this part of the book AT ALL, so it was kind of a shock, and it hurt all the more for it.
(I FUCKING LOVE WATCHING BELLATRIX. Such palpable insanity. Helena Bonham Carter is awesome beyond words.)
Cried bucketloads at the end. Bucketloads. Oh, Dobby. ♥
It was a beautiful film. Stunning locations, gorgeous cinematography... Everything was pretty perfect.
And now we shall wait for the last film. ♥
