Yep, I know, it was Tracy's post about this that got me paying attention in the first place... everything else has just been following from that. I can't even imagine what kind of hell they must be going through, even now.

Oh, bless your heart. There are few things that enrage me more than sanctimonious assholes railing against parents who make a mistake and lose a child. EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES. Most of us are fortunate enough that our mistakes don't have fatal consequences. That makes us lucky, not better.
