I love my mother-in-law -- she is absolutely awesome. But last night, when she was visiting, she told the story of how one of her cats caught a skink and was playing with it in the house. Except she pronounces "skink" as "skank" and that's an entirely different visual. I could barely keep a straight face

I would be very upset with my cats if they were playing with a skank in my house.

Miss Orchid almost caught a mouse the other night. I think it's decided it really is best to stay under the dishwasher and the sink, and hasn't come back out since.
