Interesting. I lived in LA from 1982 to 1988 and I remember tremendous downpours for much of the rainy season. So it's changed recently -- very interesting. But it could just be a cycle.

and this is the first year we are getting socked with it. but I met a man that said 20 to 30 years ago this was the norm..so you are right..
