My one cat (this one) is dying. Had him for about six months and he's now dying of cancer in the mouth where it can't be operated on. The only way for the cancer to be removed through surgery, they would have to take off his face -- which a surgery like that he would not survive anyways. I don't know why my parents are prolonging his time

Sorry to hear :\ We did the same to our cat. He was 24 and didn't really have a quality of life anymore. I give my mom credit for making the decision. She had had that cat since she first moved here. Hell that cat was older than I am.
