*hugs you* Oh Shadow, I know what your going thru buddy. Staph infection is serious and not to be fooled with. I had it in my leg after my jeep accident. with antibiotics it cleared up within 2 weeks. Please take care and im praying for you

I hope I caught mine early enough that I won't have to go 2 weeks with the daily visits. *hugs*

*hugs* I'm sure I'll be okay. I've got my pills and the doctor gave me a great big shot of antibiotics to be sure the infection is being hit on all fronts.

*hugs* From what the doc said, it wasn't from the zit that the staph came from, he thinks it was on my skin or my nails, and just used the broken skin as a doorway in.

Staph is nasty, but it is always all over our skins, and doesn't do a damn thing to us, but yet, if it gets ahold of a wound, it can wreak nasty havoc all over the place, that's why it's so important to wash with soap as soon as you get a cut! I have a similar ouchie, I slipped in a puddle at work and fell on my arm/wrist and now (a few days after the fact) its really sore. Hopefully nothing serious, but at least the worker's comp would pay for a docctor if I need it, right now, it just feels like I bruised it pretty bad. Here's to hoping for a speedy recovery for both of us!
