New trailer for Sonic Next Gen, new Shadow footage included.

Yeah....apparently my last post contained a mere rumor that Shadow will be in this game without the guns and stuff. The vehicles are back and we can just make a safe bet that there may be guns. Sorry SA2 Shadow fans....my last post had your hopes up..Truly I am =(...

o.o Despite that it's a little "eh, whatever" that it turned out to be a rumor, I was watching that trailer and it gave me chills in the best possible way. 8D I STILL CAN'T WAIT TO GET IT. BWAAAH.

I'm a little worried about Shadow. Honestly, I think he needs to be shoved back a little. They're putting him in the spotlight too much for his own good, and he works much better as a secondary character. :/ I'm no Shadow-hater - he's actually my favorite character - but his reputation has been getting worse and worse since ShtH came out. ._.

...Wow. I loved that trailer. *__* Despite the cliché narrator voice, it sent chills down my spine. Ugh, Sonic is so cool. XDD S'a good thing he's still got that attitude we've all grown to love so much. Thanks for the link!

Actually, now that it's been brought up, it doesn't LOOK like Shadow really has a major role in the new game... I mean, he has levels in it obviously, but the plot seems to revolve a lot around the Blue Blur and ol' Eggy.

Really, I agree Shadow could use a bit of down time to get his groove back, but as far as I can tell, the new game won't be uhm... "overworking" him. Maybe your theory will come true. :D

Shadow's involvement in Sonic Next is still unknown, and we probably won't know until either super late or when the game comes out. I hope not too long. I wanna see how he's involved ^^.

I agree with you and Blackchain. As a huge Shadow fan, it would be good for him to back down and take a chill pill.

You have a valid point, by the by. Shadow is a cool character. The coolest, in my opinion. But yeah; since STH, Shadow has had a bad reputation since everyone saw the first Shadow trailer back in March '05. Most people's reaction, "OMG!!1111!! SHADOW N GUNZ??? WTF?". It's good he is involved majorly, but he doesn't need to be the spark of the story all the time.

Honestly, doesn't look like Shadow's gonna be too important anyway. Have we seen him outside the game's coverart and his gameplay-levels? As far as I know, we haven't. Just Sonic and Silver the mutant parakeet and Eggman and the princess (ew human D8) from what I can see, so HOPEFULLY Shadow'll just... be there?

And we haven't really seen much gameplay from him either, have we? Maybe that's just.. one or two levels. And no guns yet right?

I haven't seen any shots of Shadow with his guns but I'm 90% sure he will have them. But that 10% may sneak up.

Who knows? SEGA could be keeping his role a secret right now.
