Does anyone else see a problem with the lack of military support in New Orleans and Mississippi? I mean really. I woke up at 5 am watching the news and heard that the reason the military hasn't gone into New Orleans to assist in the evacuation is because there has been no contact with people that are there to know if they need any help.

It's a horrible situation. Several thousands ground troops are being deployed, according to CNN. It might be too late for a lot of people though. There are so many shitty details about the situation I feel like mentioning for no linear reason.
