Went to Budapest last weekend. Very pretty city. Anyway, saw this statue - and the horse's bridal (near the ears). Am now wondering if this Hungarian king/general was a really and Old One or another general of the Light... (and against which Rising :p )

Lmao. Yes, I can see the Light fundraising...except since Will's the only one left wouldn't it be him fundraising? ::contemplates::

And I love that statue.

Actually I reckon Merriman comes back for the fundraising expedition (because it's just too much fun imagining him doing door-to-door..)

PS that said, it's possible (deregarding timelines) that the fundraising took place just before the last Rising. Train fares and hire (and airline tickets too I'm sure) being expensive :)

Well...what do we know that Will/Merriman/the Old Ones did between Halloween in the Grey King and summer in Silver on the Tree? Definite fundraising could have been going on in that time. Or maybe between Over Sea, Under Stone and Greenwitch Merry had the Drews fundraising...

I've noticed the logo in the past, too. I wonder which kinds of Tazo tea Merriman and Will like best?

hehe, Will liking tea reminds me of a fic that I read on fanfiction. It was a crossover with Highlander and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Ha ha. I'd never noticed that about Tazo - it might even make me drink their tea. But I can't really imagine Will getting involved with Starbucks even to raise money - surely he is more the independent coffee shop type? :D
