Wonderful day?

Ever  notice how most receipts have something along the top like "Have a wonderful day!"  Is this like a precautionary measure in case the person who rings you up forgets to wish you well?  If I had a business I would stand out in the crowd by providing a message that says "Thank you for spending your money on us!  Please cling to these material ( Read more... )

haha, and there is plenty to cling too....

plus there is the static... which helps with the clinging.

That type of thing always makes me cheerful.

I think it's really just another subtle way for them to implant positive associations between them and their customers, a tiny marketing tactic. I personally like it though, it always makes me smile a little.
