wow, that looks so cool. i'm not particularly interested in the sowtime expansion pak (or at least not what i've seen so far), i may have to treat myself

i've seen a few people talking about it, where do you get it, is it like a stuff pack or something?

ps. sorry to burden you with a question, i've just stuck to the basics of the game so far, so if i've missed the obvious my bad

Lunar Lakes is purchased with SimPoints at the EA store. It's just a world.

It's just another World, or neighborhood, it's not an expansion pack or anything. It gives you another neighborhood and there's some additional items too.

It's available on EA's website here: http://store.thesims3.com/customProductDetail.html?categoryId=12642&index=0&productId=OFB-SIM3:47840&intcmp=TheSims3StoreFeb12_Internal_ComSplash_LunarLakesWFCrashedShip

(though I may have snatched a torrent myself ;) )

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who liked this world. Sometimes I get this feeling when I look at Sims 3 Blog and just about every Sims site out there like I'm some red-headed stepchild for LIKING Sims 3 and particularly Lunar Lakes but the world just geeked me so much as a fan of retro Sci-fi stuff!
I particularly love that Lunar rise. So pretty!

(Also it was a great place to put all my Sci-fi furniture! XD)

How are you liking it?

So far, I've been exploring Hidden Valley and haven't had time for Lunar Lakes just yet. [I have the Sims Late Night Expansion but none of the others.] Admittedly, I'm finding Hidden Valley gorgeous but fairly boring. Especially when it comes to trying to meet people at "community locations."

If you could post your thoughts either in this comment or in the Sims community about the gameplay itself I'd really appreciate it!
