For those of you who want to see the potential train wreck....

The episode with a furry named Lauren will air on TLC tomorrow night at 9:00PM Eastern.

She is airing on the same episode as a chick who eats couch cushions. Maybe the fandom won't actually come off as the crazier of the two. ^.~

I'm not sure how we could come off as crazier than couch lady. At least putting on a costume has non-crazy uses. I'm still trying to figure out how anyone could look at a couch cushion/detergent/hair follicle and think "I should eat that"

I know right. There are some REALLY out there people they have on that show. I've not watched any of the episodes but I just cannot imagine doing some of the things they are showing in the previews.

I've watched the entire series so far. It's interesting to see the WTF addictions some of them have, but the more mundane ones, like bodybuilding, really slow the show down. It doesn't seem like they're twisting things too much, and the episodes usually end with someone seeking treatment. I'm not sure how the fursuiter will be handled, as she's already said she did it just for the fame and money.

unless they tie the two together with the rumor that some people make fursuits out of couch cushions and turn it into a giant vore thing. :p

I don't think much good is gonna come out of this, to be honest.

On the other hand, though, given the audience of shows like these, chances are it'll be forgotten again already in a week. :P

I really have no idea how it will play out to be honest. I don't expect any good to come of it, I just hope the bad won't be too bad.

I had happened upon the information so I thought I would share it just in case someone wanted to see what happened. :D

That's how I feel, too. :) I think it's going to be quite bad when viewed with isolation, but in the long run, it'll just be a small blip on the radar, so despite being bad, it won't have much of an effect.
