I don't consider myself either republican or democrat. Or a conservative or a liberal. I'm right in the middle. You all know I try to keep an open mind about everything. And you all know that I don't like George W. Bush too much.
John Kerry was at my school today. I had a class during most of his speech, but when I got out of class, he was still ( Read more... )

Yes, that's what happened when I watched one of those presidential debates before the 2004 election...from both sides. Someone would ask a question, and then instead of actually answering the question, BOTH of them would just say the same old thing about whatever issue remotely related to the question. Blah. WHERE are all the articulate politicians?? And the [insert redeeming quality here] ones?
I US polics today is just ridiculous.
Also, I should register to vote soon.
Also I'm considering double majoring in Political Science.

Political Science sounds like a Kim-ish thing, actually. What are you thinking of doing with your majors?

The problem with the 2004 election was you either had to choose an evil to vote for or not vote at all and be called unamerican.

People say" lesser of the two evils" but their both idiots.

I'm fearful for what idiots they are going to give us to choose between in 2008, when we can actually vote for the presidental election.

Yeah the wireless kept fading in an out, but at least that kept me entertained. Psychology kills my soul a little... I'm scared for the test. Your last sentence sounded so wrong XD

The Kerry, in the immortal words of Liz, "is a complete asshat." The speech was only worth it because I had Megan sitting next to me, and we MST'd the entire thing.

I think the people sitting around us hated us by the end. ^^;

You really didn't miss much.
