Velvet Elvis

Rob Bell owns when it comes to telling a story you've heard a thousand times in a different way and giving you a completely new understanding of it. well thats how it is for me anyways. i liked this book alot. it just made me feel like no matter what God is control, He knows who i am and loves me anyways.

so far this is the best thing i've ever done! the food is good, the weather is awesome, the drinks are o.k., the ship won't stop rocking, the casino is addicting, and i don't want it to end. sunday afternoon, my wife and i went to "The Bronx Bar" to watch the Steelers game. it was first time i've ever been in the minority as far as football fans go ( Read more... )

this past sunday we showed a video to support a church in New Orleans that was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina. apparently at some point in the video there is an audio clip of George Bush commenting on the hurricane. i was the only person to actually work with the video and i never even noticed it. someone actually wrote on a comment card," I don't ( Read more... )

i haven't actually spent much time on LJ getting to know people, so its no surprise that i don't have many people on my friends list. so today i'm adding my first non-GGM friend.

divameka is a cool chick and interesting character. in my opinion all the best stories have interesting characters! i look forward to getting to know her.
