   Would somebody please tell me why depression is hitting me so hard all of a sudden? Not a damn thing is even going wrong for me! Everything is going perfect for once...why the hell does it have to happen to me now...?

If its chemical, Sweetheart, then you dont need a reason, but you may need to see about either temporary or permenant medication to see if it'll help if it persists.

Chemical imbalances. Stress of the holidays. Pressure of the new year. Lack of sunlight. Cabin fever. The guilt that comes with "not a damn thing is even going wrong for me." Maybe even some lingering post-military adjustment issues. Could be a lot of things.
