I don't know why this would make you unpopular.

I think people have a really unrealistic and unfounded view of what America IS...the days of limitless "by your own bootstraps" opportunity and streets paved with gold are no longer...and for most of us, really, they never were.

I could jump right up on this soapbox with you but I think I'd only be preaching to the choir, right? Right.
