Liz and Jessep are getting a puppy!!

So our plan to get a cat first and then a dog has been shot out the window. I started working at the grooming shop down the block about two weeks ago. There are rescue organizations for every breed out there, and there are frequently puppies available was well as grown dogs. Please consider checking with them before you go to a breeder.

And now I'll stop lecturing. :-)

Believe me I know. I would love to take care of a rescue dog. But, everyone I have talked to has told me that for our very first pet together, it would be better that we have a mixed breed puppy, that way we can train him/her. We are doing lots of research, only looking local breeders. The lady we may be seeing today also takes care of rescue/foster Lhasas as well. But I just don't think that we are equipped to handle a special needs dog for our first pet together. Especially if I'm going to be taking him/her to the groom shop to hang out with other dogs.

Plus, Tim won't let us have a dog unless it's from a breeder.
