Was listening to this today. Go to 11:36 and you'll catch it! 13:42 - again! Even more so, perhaps. It's not just the music, the instrumentation is fairly similar too. It only last for a few seconds, but it is a very direct musical quote (intentional or not, who can say?)(but I bet Shore knew exactly what he was quoting).

As to 11:36 etc., yes, that can't be a coincidence.
I hear a really subtle reiteration of it for, like, one second, at 17:17, amidst where the piece decides to channel Fantasia on a Theme By Tallis.
