Yeah. Looting in the French Quarter was mentioned by folks over on neworleans. As was the Jefferson Parish "come in, get your stuff, come back in a month."
*sigh* I suppose looting's not surprising in a situation where people can't get home and don't have supplies. Been watching a discussion of what to do about someone who has no lexapro nor xanax since Sunday. Whether best to find Police, the Superdome, an already looted pharmacy, or to worry about going outside.
CNN just reported about the guy who jumped to his death inside the Superdome. 24-26K people in there, they say. Toilets overflowing, ungodly hot. Waist deep water outside of Superdome.
And I saw an interview in Mobile where the interviewer was close to breaking down. Levee break's finally main news.

Both airports are under water. Some parts of the city to 20 feet. Tulane University Hospital evac'ing as water rising 1 inch/5 minutes.
