I've yet to donate as $$$ is tight, but it's my only option as i don't get to actually vote. and i'm kicking my spouse in the ass to go vote since he usually doesn't. and as i always say, if you don't vote, you don't get to bitch about it. (and he usually does). anyway... i'm right there with you as far as my level of rage at how completely disgusting the process is - to say the least. scary as hell, too, that so many people are so easily duped with such low standards and such dirty tactics. As the aforementioned spouse has ever so eloquently observed last night during the "this is Jake McCain, this is Joe McCane, this is Jane McCain.. this is Token McCain" (we get it, they are all named mccain): "How do they fill an arena with stupid motherfuckers who are happy to stand there and cheer for nothing like idiots?". To which I remember thinking, it's like "So you think you can be President", but the only dancing is around the issues and with someone's hand up someone else's cavity.
