Today, cancer/leukemia has taken yet another person. Someone very close to me, and very special: Nancy Fuqua
She had some problems earlier in June and was sent to M.D. Anderson in Houston, one of the best cancer doctors in the U.S., however, some medication that she was given did not react well with her, causing her blood to clot.  This, intern, ( Read more... )

The world is truly a sadder place. You were blessed to have known her and been a part of her life. I did not know her, nor do I know you, however we should all be as blessed as you were to have her in your life. God bless you and your family and hers.

May each of us that are left here to carry on have at least one person say half as many nice things about us when it is our time to pass on.

I am so sorry. Just remember that even though it is incredibly painful, God is always there to help you through. You and her family and friends will be in my prayers.

Oh Em I'm so sorry. Cancer is such an awful, awful thing. But if she had you and your family, then she had amazing friends. Be glad for the time you did have with her and know that I'm a phone call and a short drive away if you need me. *hugs*

Thanks codes!! I'm actually getting a little better already... we had a small get-together for the Happy Hour Group where we just sort of comforted each other and discussed the good times we had with her... it was very nice and actually cheered me up a bit... there was some crying, but I think we all sort of helped each other from being so sad though. It was a good thing... Note to self and others: when something bad happens or someone close to you passes away, don't hide from the world, be with the friends you still have and enjoy every minute of it... it's important. 8- D

♥luv ya codes!!♥ and thanks for the hugs *muah* 8- *
