I say take a chance and go to Gainesville. ^_^ You have a few years experience in the hotel area now, so you could probably get a job in that line easily enough, ne? It's also probably better to be with your friends than with your father.

wow tough decision... well i'd pick the move to gainesville, but my opinion is biased since i do live with my parents and i can't wait to move out next year. ^^;;

I would go with Gainesville! That way you won't feel stuck and I am sure like the one of the other commenters said you won't have any trouble finding a job in the hotel industry! There is more to do in Gainesville in the social way and just more to do! Even if we do have a ghetto walmart. lol.
You should go to Gainesville! There is also SFCC so you could school there too. I don't like community colleges but I think most community colleges are the same anyway! Just branch out! ^_^
