I am sitting here waiting to hear from Chris, our vet, about Artemis. I hate waiting but, I am terrified of calling to find out what is going on as well. I am just so not ready to lose another furchild ( Read more... )

Thank you so much Jeffrey, it means much to me, your kind words...and I do hope she gives that good accounting to Bast for us, as we loved her dearly...and miss her so terribly much.

Thank you love, it's just so hard to take...three in one year. I feel like I failed them, at least Mama Kitty and Artemis, they both died of mammary cancer at MUCH too young an age.

Chris is still shocked, cat simply don't normally get mammary cancer until well past 10 years old, unless something triggers it. She actually said she suspected our house, as a possible atmospheric carcinogen...because the cats were unrelated, and indoors only. But we can't figure out what in the house could be the cause...and I am scared and worried on top of being heartbroken and devastated.

I am terrified something will happen to the rest of the kitties and Bitty Girl...
