Woo Hoo!
I finally got my first paycheck and boy...what a difference! Now maybe I can get a few things done around here and actually have money to spare when I want to just goof off or treat myself to a meal somewhere. But first things first. It's been an interesting time at work. I got stuck in the rain and nearly got stuck in the mud due to all the mud. Just lovely. Oh well....from what I have heard....my boss feels I am doing a good job. I'm glad for that. At least I'm doing a good enough job that people are noticing. Work...whew!
Well I've gone through 2 nights of work. It's quiet and pretty easy if a bit boring. Oh well....construction sites are not supposed to be all crazy and this pretty much holds true. Tonight was my full night...8 hours of boredom with a side of cold air. To be honest, I do enjoy the work...it just feels weird to not complain about work ( Read more... ) -
First day on the job
My first day of work is tonight. I am so ready for this but I know I can do it. Once I get into the swing of things I should be fine. Keep your fingers crossed everyone. -
Update
I'm now hired on with a new company...better pay and hopefully, less headaches. Tomorrow I give up my work stuff to my old company and I get paid. I know they will try to charge me for my work jacket as it has seen better days but oh well. I really don't care. I have a week's worth time extra they can take it out of....so let them ( Read more... ) -

I have found a better job! I am finally quitting the company I have worked with for so long and getting a better one! Someone pinch me...I must be dreaming. *looking around to see if someone is gonna try to pinch me*
