Operation: Kate Fucking Bishop - Phase 2, Week 1

Jan 27, 2013 14:00

So Operation KFB hasn't been going well. This is my own fault, because I am lazy and am almost incapable of sticking to a routine. In an effort to focus myself and produce measurable results, I've entered into the dubious realm of "fitness videos" and purchased a program entitled "Six Week Six Pack". I started it this morning and barely got past ( Read more... )

You can totally do it. I've been doing this 21 day fitness challenge with the Kickboxer (crush/fitness buddy from before I knew you) and I lost at least two inches off my waist in the last three weeks.

Wanna pair up?

I'm currently at my highest weight EVER (96 kg) and I've decided I will loose 20 kg this year.

Simply because I own a ton of stuff to wear that I love....but that I don't fit in anymore, and I'll be damned if I spend money on buying new stuff when my wardrobe is actually packed with nice things to wear.

I've got a cross-trainer here and I watch movies while I work out (*chuckles* 45 mins yesterday and today....but it's a start).

I think I'll be a bit more motivated if there's someone along for the ride.

So....feel like doing this together?

Yes! Absolutely! I think it would help me a lot if there's someone to hold me accountable, even if it'll take me a while to catch up to you. :)

How do you wanna do this?

Never had a training buddy before, so I#m not quite sure.

Maybe weekly updates of how our weight / waist changed, how much of our inteded sport we did and how much we missed?

(I'll have to find a tape measure...no idea how many cm my waist has...but it sure as hell isn't smaller than my hips....talk about cardio-vascular risk-factors....never mind the mild signs of a fatty liver in the ultra-sound two years ago....).

Maybe add a bit of info about the diet we're keeping? Things we're proud of, things that sucked?

List of reasons WHY we're doing this, so we can remind us of that from time to time, to keep us motivated?

That sounds great! That's kind of what I've been trying to do with these posts, but, y'know, sometimes I forget. Having someone to poke at me will help. :)

My email is just my LJ name at gmail, if you'd like to exchange updates that way.

I've been doing bodyweight routines out of You Are Your Own Gym (plus some plank and abwork) and I've lost something like three inches off my waist this month, so I think this is a TOTALLY ACHIEVABLE GOAL for you and I am here to be your cheerleader! \o/\o/\o/
