Satan wouldn't bother trying to disrupt you at those times if there wasn't someone to distract you from.

Hard as it is to appreciate this when it's happening to you, in a roundabout way this is a consolation. The enemy must have a reason for taking you seriously, to lay such heavy fire on you... and by doing so only at such specific times, that tells you exactly what you need to persevere in doing.

It's worse when you are simply in the dark.

The "good news" is, all you have to do is persevere. You don't have to feel anything in particular. You don't have to be "successful." Just keep going.
