I've read the chapter about 4 times now and I've decided that IS Lisa not Nanao. The hair, the short dress and glasses remind me more of Lisa and the book is wrong to be Nanao's.

Also I'm pretty sure that Tousan was the captain of the 9th when Zaraki our Kenpachi killed the captain of the 11th. So I'm wondering if Isshin is the captain of the 11th RIGHT NOW. My other thought is that he's the presumed dead captain of the 10th.

This whole chapter made me squee and run around like a crazy fan girl.

And hmmm, you're right ... that could honestly be Lisa. XD *is kind of amused that Lisa and Nanao look like they could be twins* Of course, the next panel over where Shunsui's implying they should save the foreplay for later ... It seemed rather Nanao-ish <3 I could see Lisa being more receptive to Shunsui and his come-ons rather than Nanao~ Though Lisa does have a rather short temper >.>;

XD And Sarge is probably going to be all over that theory about the tenth. I can see it now~ For me? I rather think he was the 11th Division's captain >.>; Mostly because I can see "Isshin Kenpachi" and losing the title of "Kenpachi" probably could have been a reason he left, faking his own death~? *is still unsure of the details, is just making shit up =D*

=) And yup, this was definitely an interesting chapter. *is just happy to see more Kisuke* ^^; *wants to see more Aizen/Urahara interaction now*

Well according to the teaser at the end of the chapter next weeks is supposed to be Urahara/Aizen. So I'm hoping for some epic info on the hougyouku and when Aizen started sneaking off to heuco mundo to start making the arrancar like Nel that are already 100 years old.

I'm also convinced Aizen totally set Urahara up to get him exiled. That last panel of devious!Aizen was cool.

And I'm just a big ole' fangirl. This chapter made me so happy. I get why other people aren't so enamored with it, but I for one fangirled all over my house and every forum I visit. :) And yes I really am that pathetic. LOL!!

♥ I seriously can't wait for more Kisuke backstory. I understand why others are disappointed (I am, too, in the non-fangirly portion of my brain) with this chapter, but hey, win some, lose some. I just like that we're finally getting somewhere and that's all that really counts~ XD I know that Kisuke is Kubo's favorite little plot device, but really - it's hilarious how much his name popped up until that chapter. I was like "WHAT'S WITH THE COCK TEASING?"

And I'm of the same opinion~ Aizen set Kisuke up, Kisuke turned bitter and less adorkable and totally thought up some fun little game he'd end up playing with Aizen in return ♥~ You know what's funny? I could see Aizen and Kisuke being "best friends" in that "I'LL STAB YOU IN THE BACK" kind of way. A game of manipulation would be quite fun for those two.

=/ I'm kind of annoyed at the whole "guys pwn over girls thing" captain-wise, too. I mean, I would rather have Hiyori as a captain rather than Kensei ... DX Sure, he has more maturity, but I could see Hiyori being a pretty cool captain <3 Of course, someone could die in the future and then she could possibly become a captain then? =D

=/ It's annoying, thouuuugh. And I kind of feel like this whole backstory captain-thing is a little contrived. Like -- all the vizard were captains/lieutenants, and -- honestly, I was hoping for 'car backstory rather than MORE Soul Society stuff, particularly regarding Aizen.

XD; See, I'm biased since I was just happy to see Kisuke. I would have gone for 'car backstory, too, though, to be honest. To see more on how they came into existent, etc. - I would love to see how the Hougyoku works and how Aizen used it~

But hey, we're getting somewhere now with back-story. You're right, though, this might just be a little too ... convenient. I would have thought at least some of the Vaizard weren't captains/lieutenants - there are possibly other ways Kubo could have worked in~ Like a soul in Rukongai with "spiritual power", a shinigami that's seated but not at captain-level, etc. I don't know >.>; It's still slow progress with Bleach, really~

They do. But ... I really think it's Nanao because ... IDK, it would be kind of weird to not only have a pre-Tousen but to have a pre-Nanao >.>; Probably WOULD be something Kubo would pull, but I would prefer it just to be Nanao and the way she looked 100 years ago (since, after all, can't expect a girl to look the same every century!)

=/ It probably IS Lisa, but I have my fingers crossed otherwise.
