This made me feel two things within lines of each other ... humour: '(the type of sense to listen when his sister speaks).' and sadness, 'She isn’t surprised that she has to look up, stopping the tears from falling as she keeps her gaze heavenwards.' I like this aspect best, that you can couple these seemingly contrasting emotions into such a small space, it gives the entry more of a punch, because (for me at least) these emotions are often inseparable and this gives weight to the character and the situation.

Brilliant. You always give your characters more than I ever give them credit for. You should really do a Kon saga at some point *hint hint*

What do you do channel the Shiba siblings or something? This was well balanced and perfectly played. She comes off just as scary as written but with a totally believable internal dialog that brings depth to her character.
