Mmmm... nicely done. I like how you got Byakuya all introspective about his clan pride and standing. And I loved your Yoruichi and how easy it is for her to goad him even back then. *grin*

And... I really enjoyed that half twist at the end, where he was hurt that she left *him* as well as everything else in Soul Society. That was unexpected but really neat. Nicely done!
