Sharp eyes take in the way his fingers idly tap out a non-existent beat on the table. She isn’t sure what’s on his mind, but she knows whatever it is can’t be anything good, not with that frown marring his face and that crease of a brow showing otherwise. Yoruichi, for this excursion, has decided to forgo her feline form and has surprisingly settled into the comfort of her original skin, clothes on and ready to take on the world for all intents and purposes. She doesn’t want to make him uncomfortable or she probably would have done without the clothes, but she’s here to cheer him up, not offend him and make him defensive. She could do that sort of thing any old day.

Gamma likes to say that he doesn't fear anything. He likes to say -- to Angelle (to make her feel less frightened for him while he's away), to Nazna (to show her up), to Elwood (to impress him, to make himself look perfect and strong) -- that he isn't even afraid of death. That death is just another adventure, it's another journey he'll one day have to take.
But Gamma's eye is on the prize, not to raise the dead. Not to just reach his goal, just to say he was able to do it.
Gamma wants immortality. He doesn't want to live forever, not really. But Gamma's so afraid to die (he clenches his artificial fist, swallows the lump in his throat) that he'll do anything to avoid it.
He's afraid of the many circles of hell, and he doesn't want to know what demons lurk behind the tombstone.

Gamma has been through much since he’s joined the Black Spell. Some good, some bad, and some in-between the lines. He doesn’t care, as long as he gets stronger than anyone, becomes what he’s always wanted to be - and finally, someday, he’ll be on top of the world even if he has to kill everyone else to achieve even that. Uni is possibly the biggest hurdle he’ll face. He isn’t scared of the White Spell, it’s his own men, his own organization that truly makes him even a little bit afraid. He copes, though, he’ll always cope. It helps him move on.
But there’s one thing he can’t stand even if he wants to cope with it. Being defeated is that one thing that makes his blood boil. It’s because of those brats that he lost to that Hibari Kouya. And those brats would pay.

“Tamaki’s doing it again,” Haruhi lamented out-loud, flopping down onto the couch in the center of the Host Club room this particular afternoon (done in leopard prints since this week’s theme was something along the lines of exotic furs). The only person present to hear her disappointed tirade was Mori who, like always, was the silent on-looker when it came to her. It may not have been much of a talker, but Haruhi found he made for a great listener when she needed someone to just talk to - someone who would listen. “Tamaki … ugh, why do you guys put up with him? I still don’t get it. H-He’s so -”
“You like him.” Having been unprepared to be cut off before she even got going, she blinked, taken aback. There was even a smaller than small curve of the lips that she only barely noticed. He was amused. Why was that? This was the first time she was going off about Tamaki, of all people, and Mori automatically assumed she liked the guy? Not

Lambo was on a mission. Such a mission of extreme proportions that he couldn’t disclose the information even if he had been asked! Well, maybe it wasn’t that important, but it was important to him, and that was all that mattered! For he had lost his precious ring that Papan had said not to lose. This didn’t bode well for little Lambo. Contrary to popular belief, he didn’t enjoy getting into trouble, and to make sure he didn’t get into trouble with Iemitsu (and by default, Tsunayoshi!) he would search the nation in pursuit of the ring he had lost

“I-I got this for you,” Tsuna stumbles over himself, thrusting out the gift-wrapped present he has made specifically for Kyoko and barely missing hitting her in the process. “I-I hope you like it!”
Kyoko laughs as she accepts the present, smiling warmly. “Thank you. And here’s yours!” she cheerfully chimes back, taking a minute to sort through her backpack for the right gift. “Aha! Here it is. It’s another charm,” she admits with a hint of red coloring her cheeks. “This one is more of a ‘don’t forget me’ charm, you know?”
It’s Tsuna’s turn to laugh. “How could I forget you, though, Kyoko-chan?” They exchange smiles as Tsuna takes the small gift out of Kyoko’s hand. It may have been small, but it was honestly the thought that counted and he wouldn’t (could never) forget Kyoko even if it was possible to forget her. She meant too much to him.
