Oh my god, holy bejebus. I have SUCH a bad case of the munchies. It's taking just about EVERYTHING I have to not eat the kitchen. Yeah, I'd probably puke it back up (how's that for incentive) but this is mean hard.

*hugs*

glass of lemon water (or whatever you use) to try combat it? If you feel full, less likely to want to munch?

When I get the munchie I grab a bag of atkin's crunchers and it satisfies the munchie monster and also adds protien. After I'm done with the bag I'm usually very thirsty and take lots of little tiny sips untill I can drink agin and guess what by that time I'm full and don't want to put anyting in my mouth for another 4 hours. I drink more water is all.

The trick is at (at least for me) making the right choice and making sure there is no other food that I am not suppose to have in easy reach. Try almonds about 5 of them help in a pinch and since they take forever to mush in my mouth I get pretty tired and stop after the 3rd one.

But sweetie I feel ya I get those days and it's not hunger so much as wanting to chew something.

You are so right, some days I just struggle with not putting everything into my mouth. I had some cashews at one point... My husband has a whole bag of the mini almond-joy candy bars on his desk that I had to ask him to put away.

It's a re-training, I know I am not full, it's just the -need- to munch and making the right choices. I'll totally look for the Atkins Crunchers, thanks!!! /hug

Just look at yourself in the mirror and then look at a normal person. Once you see the difference, the hunger will pass
